I WILLIAM P. CLEMENTS, JR. GOVERNOR MEMORANDUM OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR STATE CAPITOL AUSTIN, TEXAS 78/11 TO: Mrs. William P. Clements, Jr. FROM: Polly g DATE: May 21, 1982 I took a tour of the Mansion this morning. FOR YOUR INFORMATION The only mention of money was that the Legislature appropriated one million and Friends raised $3 million. People were asked before entering not to touch anything, not to smoke or take food or drink in. My tour group included a class of school children. Their teachers watched them closely and they were well behaved. There were no admonitions from the tour guide. I don't see anything that can be done differently. PS:cp
