OkiiICE OF WILLIAM P. CLEMENTS, JR. September 26, 1979 For immediate release: Governor Bill Clements today announced the appointment of Bobby Baros of Gonzales to the Texas Animal Health Commission. Baros , 44, is President and Owner of Baros Feeds, Inc., a poultry and cattle operation. He is being reappointed to serve a six-year term, expiring September 6, 1985. Governor Clements also announced the following appointments: Judge John L. McCraw of McKinney to serve a six-year term, expiring July 1, 1985 on the Texas Judicial Council. Judge McCraw, 38, is District Judge of the 219th Judicial District. He is being reappointed to the council. Bill Conner of Fort WUrth to the State Commission for the Blind. Conner, 72, is Chairman-Emeritus of Alcon Laboratories, Inc., a pharmaceutical firm. He is filling the unexpired term of Henry X. Salzberger of Dallas, who resigned. Conner will serve a six-year term to expire January 1, 1981. James D. Ingram of Bryan to the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy for a six-year term to expire January 31, 1985. Ingram, 48, is a general partner with Durst, Wbod and Ingram, a certified public accountants firm. He is replacing Alvin G. Davidson of Fredericksburg, whose term expired. L.E. "Red" Davis of Hemphill to the Sabine River Authority of Texas for a six-year term to expire July 6, 1985. Davis, 55, owns L.E. Davis Construction. He is replacing Oxcar H. Pederson of Kilgore, whose term expired.
