OFFICE OF GOVERNOR WUTIAM P. CLEMENTS, JR. July 14, 1981 For immediate release: Governor Bill Clements today nailed Arnold B. Peinado, Jr. of El Paso to the Texas 2000 Commission which is charged with drawing a long-range plan for Texas. Peinado, 49, is executive vice president of a consulting engineers and land development company. He will replace Arthur L. Gonzales of El Paso, who resigned. The term extends to April 9, 1982. Governor Clements also announced reappointment of the following: Albert B. Fay of Houston to the Texas Conservation Foundation for a six-year term extending to June 13, 1987. Fay, 68, is in oil, gas, marinas, real estate and investments businesses. Al Wilson, 42, of Killeen to the Advisory Board of Athletic Trainers for a six-year tem extending to January 31, 1987. Wilson is athletic trainer at Killeen High School. Mrs. Sam D. Ward of Houston to the State Board of Morticians for a six-year tem extending to May 31, 1987. She is employed at ARAM(X) in Houston.
