Hudgins to the State Board of Nurse Examiners, R.H. Holekamp to the Upper Guadalupe River Authority, Robert C. Dunlap, Jr. to the Radiation Advisory Board, and Ronald Osborn to the Produce Recovery Fund Board.
OLTICE OF GOVERNOR WILLIAM P. CLEMENTS, JR. September 9, 1981 For immeliate release: Governor Bill Clements today announced the following appointments: Robert E. Bell, Sr. of Edna to be Criminal District Attorney of Jackson County until the next general election and until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified. The appointment is effective September 1, 1981. Bell, 33, attended Lamar State College of Technology and received a law degree from University of Houston Bates College of Law. He served as County Attorney prior to his appointment to the newly created District Attorney position. George Craig of Corpus Christi to the Texas Coastal and Marine Council for a teLm extending to June 30, 1983. Craig, 32, is president of a real estate company. He is also manager and general partner of Bahia Bay Development Company and executive vice president of Texas Security Associates, Inc. He will fill the unexpired term of George S. Hawn of Corpus Christi, who resigned. Robert David Rogers of Dallas to the State Comission on Judicial Conduct for a term extending to November 19, 1985. Rogers, 45, is president and chief executive officer of Texas Industries, Inc., a cement and concrete products firm. He will replace E. Carl Dillard of Pearsall, whose berm expired. Elizabeth Jean Pryor of Fort Worth and Marlene A. Hudgins of Amarillo to the State Board of Nurse Examiners for six-year terms extending to January 31, 1987. Mrs. Pryor is chairman of the Department of Nursing at Tarrant County Junior College. She will replace Billie Jean Bell of Houston, whose term expired. Mrs. Hudgins is Associate Director of Academic Affairs at Northwest Texas Hospital School of Nursing. She will replace Dr. Barbara Woodard of Dallas, whose tern expired. R.H. Holekamp, D.D.S. of Kerrville to the Upper Guadalupe River Authority for a term extending to November 1, 1984. Dr. Holekamp, 57, has a private dental practice. He will fill the unexpired teim of Guy Cade Jackson, Jr. of Kerrville, who is deceased. Robert C. Dunlap, Jr. of Dallas to the Radiation Advisory Board for a six-year term extending to April 16, 1987. Dunlap, 70, is a rancher. He is former president of Geophysical Services, Inc. and former senior vice president of Texas Instruments. Ronald Osborn of Hereford to the Produce Recovery Fund Board for a six-year term extending to January 31, 1987. Osborn, 40, manages Champion International. He will replace Mrs. Tom Diamond of El Paso, whose term expired.
