OFFICE OF GOVERNOR WILLIAM P. CLEMENTS, JR. March 12, 1981 For immediate release: Governor Bill Clements today named Othal E. Brand of McAllen to be a member of the Texas Board of Corrections for a six-year term extending to February 15, 1987. Brand, 61, is chairman of the board of a fruit and vegetable producer/processor business. He will replace Freeman B. Dunn of Houston, who resigned. Governor Clements also announced the reap9ointment of Bob D. Glaze of Gilmer and Barbara T. Slover of Fort Worth to be members of the Texas Board of Health for six-year terms extending to February 1, 1987. Mrs. Slover, 49, is a pharmacist. Glaze, 53, is a chiropractor.
