OFFICE OF GUERNOR WILLIAM P. CLEMENTS, JR. May 29, 1979 For Immediate Release: Governor Bill Clements today named The Reverend Harold R. King of Fort Worth to the Texas Board of Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies. Dr. King succeeds G. William Rider of Galveston for a six-year term extending to January 31, 1985. The 48-year-old King is pastor of Mount Hermon Missionary Baptist Church. The Governor also announced appointment of three to the Credit Union Commission. They are Calvin Phillips of Dallas,51, Clarence Thomas Howell of Amarillo, 73, and Fritz Walter Gunther of San Antonio,54. Phillips and Howell will serve until February 15, 1985, Gunther until February 15, 1983. Governor Clements appointed Harry Trippet of Waco, 60, to the Board of Directors of the Brazos River Authority, for a six-year term extending to February 1, 1985. Trippet is replacing Billy Joe Wilson of Hamlin, whose term expired. Phillips is replacing Jack A. Mitchell of Dallas, whose term expired; Howell is replacing Billy F. Spivey of Austin, whose term expired; Gunther will be filling the unexpired term of Jimmy R. Williams of San Antonio, who resigned. ;
