On'ICE OF GOVERNOR WILLIAM P. CLEMENTS, JR. April 8, 1981 For immediate release: Governor Bill Clements today announced the following reappointments: Gerald Hicks Smith of Houston and V.F."Doc" Neuhaus of McAllen to the Finance Commission of Texas for six-year terms extending to February 1, 1987. Smith, 50, is president and chief executive officer of Allied Bancshares, Inc. Neuhaus, 80, operates an investments firm. He is chairman of the board of McAllen State Bank and director of Harlingen State Bank, Cullen Bank and Citizens State Bank. Salvador S. Mora of Laredo to the Texas Optometry Board for a six-year term extending to January 31, 1987. Mbra, 63, is an optometrist. Walter V. Duncan of Richardson to the Credit Union Commission for a six-year term extending to February 15, 1987. Duncan, 49, is president of Richardson Credit Union.
