Office of Governor William P: Clements, Jr. August 23, 1979 For Immediate Release: Governor Bill Clements today announced the following appointments to the Criminal Justice Division Advisory Board for a one-year term expiring March 12, 1980: Todd McLain Hunt of Dallas, 26, Vice President of Texana Resources; Judge William C. Martin, III of Longview, 41, Judge of the 307th Judicial District. Judge Charles J. Murray of Fort Worth, 60, Judge of the 17th Judicial District. Governor Clements announced the appointment of Olin Valery Joffrion of Carthage to the Sabine River Authority of Texas for a six-year term to expire July 6, 1985. Joffrion,56, President of Little Tiger Oil Company, is replacing Guy S. Morris of Greenville, whose term expired. The Governor also announced the reappointment of George H. McCullough, M.D. of Fort Worth, to be a member and Chairman of the Texas Commission on Rehabilitation for a six-year term to expire August 31, 1985. Also being reappointed is Fred Wulff of Brady, to the School Land Board for a two-year term to expire August 29, 1981. Governor Clements today announced the appointment of Richard Henry Parker of Houston to the Texas Advisory Council of the Legal Services Corporation for a one-year term to expire April 13, 1980. Parker, 34, an attorney, is replacing Lewis T. Sweet, of Dallas, whose term has expired. Governor Clements also announced the appointments of Demarious L. Keller Frey, D.V.M. of Corpus Christi and Billy R. Trimmier, D.V.M. of San Antonio to the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners for terms to expire August 26, 1935. Frey, 42, is replacing Dr. Wallace Cardwell of Elgin, whose term expired. Trimmier, 49, is replacing Dr. Charles W. Edward of Marfa, whose term expired.
