June 11, 1980 For immediate release: Governor Bill Clements today arihounced the following appointments: Senator Pete Snelon of Midland to the Southern Regional Education Board for a four-year term to expire June 30, 1984. • Snelson, 57, is being reappointed to the board, effective June 30, 1980. Dr. Joel Hartman Johnson of Brenham to the State Rural Medical Education Board for a six-year term to expire February 27, 1986. Johnson, 59, practices medicine at Brenham Clinic. He will replace Dr. C.C. Pate of Paducah, whose term expired. Mrs. Dorothea Ann Mather Of Houston to the Hospital Licensing Advisory Council for a six-year term to expire December 7, 1985. Mrs. Mather, 40, will replace Joe Roddy, Jr. of Austin, whose term expired. William E. Crockett of Houston to, the Teachers' Professional Practices Commission for a two-year term to expire August 31, 1981. Crockett, 40, is a teacher at Walnut Bend Elementary School. He will replace Mrs. Emma Jean Tanner of Lake Jackson, whose term expired.
