OFFICE OF GOVERNOR WILLIAM P. CLEMENTS, JR. May 8, 1980 For Immediate Release: Governor Bill Clements today reappointed Dr. Isaac Willis of Longview to the Texas State Board of Podiatry Examiners. Dr. Willis, 50, was named to another six-year term extending to July 10, 1985. Governor Clements also announced the appointments of Bill J. Priest and Mrs. Barbara S. Man, both of Dallas, to the Education Commission of the States to serve at the pleasure of the Governor. Mrs. Man, 61, is a former director of the Baylor Ex-Students Association and a former member of both the Baylor Development Board and the U.S. Medical Advisory Council. She will replace The Honorable A.M. Aikin, whose term expired. Priest, 62, is Chancellor of the Dallas County Community College District, and is being reappointed to this commission. Governor Clements announced the following appointments to the Texas Workers' Compensation Advisory Committee: Harry Hubbard, 55, of Austin, President of the Texas AFL-CIO; Jackie St. Clair, 45, of Austin, Secretary-Treasurer of the Texas State Building and Construction Trades Council; Perry Leigh Cheatham, 41, of Hurst, President of the Texas UAW State CAP Council; William H. Huff, III, 42, of Dallas, Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Employers Insurance of Texas; Synott Lance McNeel , 56, of Galveston, Senior Vice President and Treasurer of American Indemnity Company; and T. B. Wright, 49, of Austin, with the law firm of Stubbeman, McRae, Sealy, Laughlin and Browder.
