He wants you to call Jim Baker at the White House or George Bush, if he.is_back in the country. 1 Mr. Lang says you have been briefed on the situation by John Craddock in Senator Tower's Office. Secretary of Transportation, Drew Lewis, and the Chairman of the Civil Aeronautics Board have already asked the FAA to make a special ruling for MUSE. Lang says MUSE AIR will go bankrupt if they cannot fly their two new $20 million airplanes in and out of Dallas and Houston and that the psychological and economic impact of that on top of Braniff's troubles will be severe.
