TO: ABC FROM: Richard English SUBJECT: CFR/ Trilateral Letters Date: October 25, 1980 Attached are some letters on CFR/Trilateral Commission which are now very old. I recommend that we make a decision that they not 6e answered at all and markdd NRN or that we go ahead and answer teem. 1. With the passage of six months the writers probably no longer expect an answer. I doubt that a satisfactory answer (satisfactory in terms of Ebeir being satisfied with the governor's actions re CFR/Trilateral commission.) can be composed. At best, an answer which satisfies them that the Governor has consideeed their viewpoints is the best thet can be doee. 2. On the other hand, more letters mentioning the Trilateral commission and CFR are coming in. Some statement may hive to be compsed on this subject.
