OFFICE OF GOVERNOR WILLIAM P. CLEWNTS, JR. August 14, 1981 For immediate release: Governor Bill Clements today named Martin E. McLean of Marble Falls to the Board of Directors of the Lower Colorado River Authority for a six-year term extending to January 1, 1987. McLean, 45, has served as Marble Falls Municipal Judge for eight years and Justice of the Peace for two years. He owns a drive-in grocery in Marble Falls. McLean will replace Jake Strahan of Burnet, whose term expired. The Governor appointed Voimir J. Belda of Temple, Linda Calcote of Abilene, and Roy R. Woolley of Center to the Statewide Health Coordinating Council. Belda, 68, is past director of the Olin E. Teague Veteran Center. He is now retired and will replace Betty Himmelblau of Austin, who resigned. Belda will serve a two-year term extending to October 21, 1983. Mrs. Calcote is director of the Junior League Volunteer Clearing House. She will replace Robert E. Yancey of Groves, whose term expired. Woolley, 66, is retired. He is county chairman of Area Agency on Aging and a member of the Deep East Texas Council of Governments Aging Committee and Natural Resources Comittee. He will replace Cecil R. Bomar of Nacogdoches, whose term expired. Mrs. Calcote and Woolley will serve terms extending to October 21, 1982. Governor Clements designated William Benjamin Munson, IV of Denison to be Chairman of the State Property Tax Board for a term extending to March 1, 1983. Munson, 39, is senior attorney with Munson, Munson & Porter law firm. He received a bachelor's degree from Notre Dame and a law degree from The University of Texas.
