July 24, 1981 For immediate release: Governor Bill Clements today named Nancy Boothe Parker of Houston and Kent Keeth of Waco to the Texas Historical Records Advisory Board for three-year terms extending to January 23, 1984. Ms. Parker is director of Fondren Library, Woodson Research Center at Rice University. She will replace John D. Hyatt of Galveston, whose term expired. Keeth, 42, is archivist-librarian and director of The Texas Collection at Baylor University. He will replace Dr. Charles P. Schultz of College Station, whose term expired. Governor Clements also appointed the following to the newly created Refugee Advisory Council under provisions of the federal Refugee Act of 1980: Paul J. Doyle, 66, of Houston. He is associate director of Catholic Charities. Cleon Dunham, 40,of Houston. He is staff facilities engineer for Shell Oil Company and chairman of the Harris County Refugee Council. Cheng Heng, 61, community resources consultant for YMCA in Houston. He is past president of Cambodia. Quach Thien Hung, 37, of San Antonio. He is assistant general manager of a X-Mart store. John Howarth, 63, of Palacios. He is retired. Neil Keltner, 40, president of Marine Transport Company in Houston. Ronald Luce, 36, project director of YMCA in Houston. Carroll Morris, 54, of Houston. He is regional director of International Rescue Committee. Carol L. Neaves, 54,of Lewisville. He is president of Lone Star Gas in Dallas. Reverend Jack D. O'Donnell, 59, of San Antonio. He is regional consultant for Arkansas and Texas for Faith Lutheran Church Refugee Services. Mrs. Lorraine Stevens, resettlement coordinator of Jewish Family Service in Dallas. Emery Waite, 45, president of a wholesale-retail seafood firm in Seabrook. Mrs. Fay Wbrrall of Denton. She is director. of Church T:brld Services in Dallas. Dr. Paola Zinnecker, 56, of Austin. He is elementary instructional coordinator for Austin Independent School District. All will serve one-year terms extending to July 14, 1982.
