OFFICE OF GOVERNOR WILLIAM P. CLEMENTS, JR. May 27, 1980 For immediate release: Governor Bill Clements today announced the following appointments: Guy H. Dalrymple of Beaumont and Joe M. Stevens of Gonzales to the Hospital Licensing Advisory Council. Dalrymple, 59, is president of Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas. He is being reappointed to the council for a six-year term to expire December 7, 1985. Stevens, 47, is administrator of Gonzales County Hospital District. He will fill the unexpired term of John Horn of Seymour, who resigned. The term will expire December 7, 1981. William F. Powell, Jr. of Weslaco to the Rio Grande Valley Municipal Water Authority fur a two-year term to expire April 30, 1982. Powell, 57, owns an insurance company and is being reappointed to the authority. Carl Hawkins of Ingram and Rosenna Szilak of San Antonio to the Advisory Council on Youth Camp Safety for two-year terms to expire December 1, 1981. Hawkins, 48, owns and directs Camp Rio Vista and will replace Hugh M. Hornsby,III,of Austin, whose term cxpired. Mrs. Szilak, 38, is cxecutive director of the YWCA and will replace Miss Georgalu Price of San Antonio, whose term expired.
