November 30, 1979 For immediate release: Governor Bill Clements today announced the appointment of Donald Albert Harvey of Midland to the Texas Real Estate Commission for a six-year term to expire January 31, 1985. Harvey, 40, is president of Don Harvey Realtors, Inc. He will replace Forrest C. Allen of Corpus Christi, whose term expired. Governor Clements also announced the appointment of Harry Stephen Bartlett of Dallas to the Texas Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations. Bartlett, 32, is president of Meridian Tool Company and a former Dallas city councilman. He is being reappointed to the commission for a six-year term to expire September 1, 1985. Governor Clements appointed Jack N. Roper, Sr. of Dallas to the State Conservatorship Board for a six-year term to expire January 31, 1985. Roper, 60, is president and chief executive officer of Bearing Chain & Supply.
