Ramey of Houston to the Commission on Jail Standards Ramey, 37, an attorney,succeeds Gayle R. Carden of Greenville for a six-year term extending to January 31, 1985. Clements reappointed John H. Butts, 47, San Augustine banker, to the Sabine River Authority of Texas for a new six-year term expiring July 6, 1985. Dr. J.R. Maxfield, 68, Dallas radiologist, was appointed to the Advisory Hospital Council, succeeding Dr. A.J. Gill of Dallas for a six-year term expiring July 17, 1985. Governor Clements reappointed Dr. William Curry Holden, retired,of Lubbock, to t Antiquities Committee for a four-year term extending to January 19, 1983. Charles Harding Foster,58, El Paso land developer, and Mrs. Susanne Barber Brubaker, 35, of Beaumont to the Governor's Special Advisory Council on Housing. They succeed Richard G. Jones of San Antonio and J.L. Philips of Houston for six-year terms extending to December 7, 1983.
