OFFICE OF GOVERNOR WILLIAM P. CLEMENTS, JR. March 27, 1980 For immediate release: Governor Bill Clements today announced the following appointments: Ray P. Moudy of Midland to the Board of Directors of the Texas Housing Agency for a term to expire January 31, 1981. Moudy, 51, is president of Citizens Savings and Loan Association. He is being appointed to Place No. 7 - a person with experience in savings and loan operations. David R. LeMaster of Midland to the Teachers' Professional Practices Commission for a two-year term to expire August 31, 1981. LeMaster, 44, is a school teacher who will replace Robert D. McMinn of Killeen, whose term expired. Dodd Miller of Dallas to the Commission on Fire Protection Personnel Standards and Education for a six-year term to expire June 11, 1981. Miller, 40, is Fire Chief of Dallas Fire Department. He will fill the unexpired term of Tom D. Pinckney of Austin, who resigned. John M. Bennett of San Antonio to the Texas Historical Records Advisory Board for a three-year term to expire January 23, 1983. Bennett, 71, is a retired Air Force General. He will replace Mary Pearson of Denton, whose term expired. Raquel Gonzalez of Laredo to the Metric System Advisory Council for a two-year term to expire August 29, 1981. Gonzalez, 51, is president of a garage firm. He will replace Anthony Cangelosi, Sr. of San Antonio, whose term expired.
