Bill Clements for Governor FOR EMMEDINTh RELEASE DECEMBER 18, 1986 News CONTACT: REGGIE BASHUR 512-476-1900 W 512-499-8387 H GOVERNOR-ELECT CLEMENTS ANNOUNCES MEMBER OF LEGISLATIVE LIAISON TEAM AUSTIN, TEXAS -- Governor-Elect Bill Clements today announced the selection of Nancy Fisher as a special legislative assistant. MS. Fisher, a resident of Austin, will have legislative responsibilities for both the House and Senate, though her primary focus will be in the House. "Nancy Fisher is a highly qualified individual who will be an important part of our legislative liaison team," Clements said. "We will have a comprehensive legislative agenda and Nancy will assist in that effort greatly." Currently, Ms. Fisher works as the House Calendar's Conmittee Clerk. She has been in that position since 1983. She will assume her new position on January 1. Prior to working in the House, Ms. Fisher was administrative assistant to Representative Bill Messer of Belton. Ms. Fisher is a 1980 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
