Box 12428 Austin, Texas 78711 Dear Governor Clements: JACK HUMBERT, PASTOR June 3, 1989 N\Ytij >%r Personal Church: (512) 258-0080 High School: (512) 258-0860 Elementary School: (512) 258-0089 Day Care: (512) 335-8141 Pastor's Study: (512) 259-4339 One month has elapsed since my letter of May 4 was sent to you. No reply has been forthcoming, and this grieves me. I suppose politicians get into the habit of asking for votes, but, once elected, forget those who helped them win. Our constituents, myself especially, strongly supported you in your three runs for public office. Now, all we ask is a traffic arrangement to protect lives, and we get stoney silence. Your administrative staff needs to be better trained! Perhaps the whole bunch of us needs to vote DEMOCRATIC in 1990, then we might get some action. Be assured that my disappointment is supreme. After hosting the election rally for you and making your personal acquaintance, I expected better things. The handling of our request by your office is a textbook reason why voters get turned off!
