TRAMME LL GROW 2001 ROSS AVENUE, DALLAS, TEXAS 75201, 214/979-5100,TELEX' 551646 May 17, 1988 The Honorable Bill Clements Governor of Texas Box 12428 Capitol Station Austin, Texas 78711 Dear Bill: I attach a file which I received today from the lawyers who have been working for us on the privatization of the collider here in Texas. This file shows that Arizona had the same idea and they have advanced it openly in Washington, therefore, I think it is imperative that we put our heads together and get our program on this well in our minds and advance our program openly to the DOE. You and I had agreed that we would meet, together with others active on this program, when I got back from China about the 16th or 17th of June. This is still as fast as I can make it unless you would come to my office in Dallas on Wednesday afternoon, May 25. We have advanced pretty far in our determinations about the legal possibilities, the financial possibilities and construction requirements. id// ic . / cc:' Mort Myerson Bill Banowsky Jack Evans Allen Cullum Peter McIntyre ....Best regards,
