• liktat(- Executi‘e Committee July 24, 1986 Mr. Donald A. Norman 2302 Stone Pine Drive Harlingen, Texas 78550 Dear Mr. Norman: I greatly appreciate your bringing t my attention your concern about the Valle Interfaitti Gro as outlined by your letter July 8 and 6-7-at ac ents. I a fully aware of the history of the Industrial Areas Foundation, the parent of such groups as Valley Interfaith. I know their history dates back to Mr. Saul Alinsky, his Chicago training school and what he started as far back as his actions at the Kodak plant in Rochester, New York. Your letter will cause me to make certain to discuss this group with Governor Clements. I assume that he is already familiar with them, but if not, I fully intend to discuss them and their tactics so that he can be fully apprised as to their mode of operation. Many thanks for taking the time to write. Sincerely yours, George W. trake, Jr. GWSjr/fms (011-28) bcc: The Honorable William P. Clements 02. 5 . &te. ... a-eiThaa- Itt.
