I want you to know that I was most sincere in my appreciation of the friendship your late father always extended to me - as well as my desire to work with you during our tenure of public service. I am on Energy and Commerce and I believe you know that you can count on me and Jack Fields to represent your position and our State's position on matters relative to energy which are of great importance to our State.
