OFFICE OF GOVERNOR WILLIAM P. CLEMENTS, JR. September 23, 1981 For immediate release: Governor Bill Clements today named Tommy W. Wallace of Grand Saline to be Criminal District Attorney of Van Zandt County until the next general election and until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified. Wallace, 28, is Mayor of Grand Saline and an attorney. He received a bachelor's decree from The University of Texas and law degree from Baylor School of Law. Wallace will replace Richard Dewey Davis of Wills Point, who vacated the position to become Judge of the 294th Judicial District.
