kOFFICF OF GOVERNOR WILLIAM P. CLEMENTS, JR. April 1, 1980 For immediate release: Governor Bill Clements today announced the appointment of Charles Wilson of Quanah, J.T. Garrett of Danbury, Jerry Holton Jones of Lubbock, and Felix Parmley of Nacogdoches to th:?. Family Farm Advisory Council. Wilson, 58, is a cash grain farmer. Garrett, 66, is director of the American Brahma Association. Jones, 41, is a partner in a cotton farming, cotton seed crushing, and cotton ginning firm. They will serve terms to expire January 31, 1985. Parmley, 54, is a dairy farmer. He will serve a term to expire January 31, 1983. Governor Clements also announced the appointment of Simon Casper Cornelius of Victoria to the Advisory Council on Community Affairs for a two-year term to expire January 31, 1982. Cornelius, 57, is a lawyer, rancher and farmer. He will replace Cecil M. Ward of Gainesville, whose term expired.
