OFFICE OF GOVERNOR WILLIAM P. CLEMENTS, JR. October 27, 1982 For Immediate Release: Governor Clements today announced the appointment of Judge Winston Charles Reagan of Athens to the Board of Trustees of the Texas County and District Retirement System for a six-year term extending to December 31,1987. Judge Reagan, 67, is County Judge of Henderson County. He is President of the State Board of the Texas Association of Counties. Judge Reagan attended University of Colorado and University of Maryland and will replace Roy Orr of Dallas, whose term expired. The Governor appointed John W. Nichols, M.D. of Galena Park to the District Review Committee of the State Medical Examiners Board for a six-year term extending to January 15, 1988. Dr. Nichols, 58, is Chief of Staff at Deaton Hospital. He graduated from Baylor College of Medicine and serves as Director of Harris County Academy of Family Physicians and is a member of the San Jacinto College Board of Regents. He will replace Dr. Gloria Elaine Rogers Mantooth of Ta Marque, who resigned. Governor Clements also appointed John C. Foshee of Austin to the Legal Comdttee of the Interstate Oil Compact Commission. Foshee, 54, is Legal Counsel(oil & gas specialty) for the General Land Office. He attended The University of Texas undergraduate and law school. Foshee is Vice Chairman of the Government Policy Liaison Corrrriittee of the Natural Resource Section of the American Bar Association.
