The dollar total reflects the month of December, 1980, and includes all services except food stamps. Food stamp data is not retained separately for refugees on a routine basis. A special program was run to accumulate this data for Rockport, which was provided to you March 2, 1981. The costs of this process prohibit this from being done for the State solely for the purpose of your request. Benefits from other agencies are also not included. This Department does not retain that information. A total of $765,000 was expended statewide for all social services and financial and medical assistance under the Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC) and Refugee Resettlement programs in this Department.
