OEFICE OF GOVERNOR ___ P. CLEMENTS, JR. October 14, 1982 For Immediate Release: Governor Bill Clements today announced reappointment of J. Owen Gilbreath of Lubbock, Cliff R. Todd of Austin, and Eddie Lee Thompson of Waco to the State Seed and Plant Board for two-year terms extending to October 6, 1984. Gilbreath, 59, is President of R.C. Young Seed & Grain Company. He is Past President of Texas Seedmen Association and an honorary nenber of Anerican Seed Trade Association. He attended Texas Tech University. Todd, 31, is Director of the Seed Division of the Texas Department of Agriculture. He attended Stephen F. Austin University. Thompson, 50, is a farmer and raises nilo, oats, wheat, hay and dairy cows. He attended Texas A&M University.
