OFFICE OF GOVERNOR WILLIAM P. CLEMENTS, JR. December 20, 1979 For immediate release: Governor Bill Clements today announced the appointment of Mrs. Farris W. Sharp of Dallas and Mrs. Jo Rene Newton of Kingsville to the Teachers' Professional Practices Commission for two-year terms to expire August 31, 1981. Mrs. Sharp, 43, is assistant principal at F.D. Roosevelt High School. She will replace Brodie Wayne Hutchinson of Andrews, whose term expired. Mrs. Newton, 53, teaches art at Henrietta M. King High School. She will replace Albert J. Vera of Houston, whose term expired.
