OFFICE OF GOVERNOR WILLIAM P. CLEMENTS, JR. June 18, 1982 For Immediate Release: Governor Clements today announced the appointment of Dr. Betty Buford of Temple and Dr. William L. McKinney of ToMarque to the Teachers' Professional Practices Commission. Dr. Buford is Coordinator of the Department of Psychology at Temple Junior College. She attended Abilene Christian University and received a master's degree from Univer- sity of Colorado and PhD from Texas ALF" University. She will replace Dr. William James Campion of Athens, whose term expired. The term extends to August 31, 1983. Dr. MCKinney,37, is Superintendent of LaMarque Independent School District. He received bachelor's, master's and PhD from North Texas State University. He will replace Bruce Tansill Aiken of Brownsville, whose term expired. Dr. McKinney will serve a term extending to August 31, 1982.
