Clements Governor, State of Texas State Capitol Austin, Texas 78711 Dear Governor Clements: pP;7 Congratulations on receiving the Boy Scouts of America's highest award, the Silver Buffalo. All of us in Circle Ten Council are very proud of you for what you mean to us. I enjoyed talking with you briefly at the airport. I passed on to Jim Tarr your suggestion concerning inviting to the meeting the Governor of the state in which the National Meeting is being held. I spent yesterday at Clements Scout Reservation. Everything is looking good for the opening of camp starting June 8. We expect 1980 to be one of our best years. If your schedule permits you to visit the reservation this summer, please let me know so I can arrange to meet you there. I thought you might enjoy having one of our new camp tee shirts. Thank you for what you mean to Scouting and to our state. Please let me know anytime I can be of service to you. Sincerely, WILLIAM C. GAMBLE Scout Executive WCG:is Enclosure: Tee Shirt PRESIDENT.
