January 7, 1982 For immediate release: Governor Bill Clements today named Michael Thomas MicSpadden of Houston to be Judge of the 209th Judicial District, Harris County, until the next general election and until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified. /4 Spadden, 37, is an assistant district attorney. He attended University of Oklahoma and received a law degree from University of Oklahoma. He will replace Associate Justice Frank Price who was elevated to the First Court of Appeals. The Governor also appointed 14.T. Satterwhite of Rockwall to the Texas Board of Land Surveying for a six-year term extending to January 31, 1987. Satterwhite, 48, is senior vice president and general counsel for ENSERCH Corporation. He received bachelor's and law degrees from Baylor University and is being reappointed to the board.
