PROCLAMATION BY THE Gunn-nor of :UN 'taI ul&Imo 41-1761 TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME: BE IT KNOWN THAT I, WILLIAM P. CLEMENTS, JR., GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF TEXAS, DO HEREBY ORDER A SPECIAL ELECTION to be held throughout the State of Texas on TUESDAY NEXT AFTER THE FIRST MONDAY IN NOVEMBER, A.D. 1979, same being the SIXTH DAY OF NOVEMBER, A.D. 1919; and, NOTICE THEREOF IS HEREBY GIVEN to the people as required by Article 4.01, Vernon's Texas Election Code, as amended, and the COUNTY JUDGE of each county is directed to cause said election to be held at each precinct in the county at such time for the purpose of adopting or rejecting the proposed Constitutional Amendments as submitted by the 66th Regular Session of the Legislature of the State of Texas.
